The women of the Lutheran church have a long history of meeting together to study Scriptures, share thoughts and enjoy the company of others. These meetings are oftentimes called “circles” and take the name of a female character from the Bible.

At Shepherd of the Hills, the church women meet in a “Ruth” circle once a month on the third Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. The study itself comes from Gather Magazine, a publication of the Women of the ELCA. During the summer months and December, the “study” portion might be a little less, but the togetherness and enjoyment are always there!
